Event Info
This workshop is taught by the Co-Owner and lead Potter of Poppy + Pot, Kevin Reichenberg! It's intended for those that want to try throwing pottery on the wheel with no experience necessary! There will be 30 minutes of demonstration then Kev will supervise as students make their very own bowl. Each participant receives two 2.5lb balls of clay.
Part one: Throwing on the wheel *choose one date EACH DATE IS LIMITED TO 4 PARTICIPANTS EACH January 21, 11-1pm All ages (8+) January 22, 3-5pm All ages (8+) January 23, 5-7pm Adult (16+)
Part two: Glaze your piece *everyone returns January 31, 5-7pm
Students return on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 to glaze their pieces. The Glaze workshop is 2 hrs with 20 minutes of demonstration and then supervision.
Students will get completed pieces a week after the glaze workshop on February 7, 2024.
