This workshop is taught by the Co-Owner and lead Potter of Poppy + Pot, Kevin Reichenberg! It's intended for those that want to try throwing pottery on the wheel with no experience necessary! There will be about 30 minutes of demonstration then Kev will supervise as students make a bowl, and after that everyone gets a second try at making anything they want with 1.5lbs of clay. *This workshop is for ages 9+
Part one: Throwing on the wheel *choose one date EACH DATE IS LIMITED TO 4 PARTICIPANTS EACH April 13, 12-2pm April 17, 5-7pm April 20, 2-4pm
Part two: Glaze your piece *everyone returns April 28, 12-2pm
All students will return on Sunday, April 28, 2024 to glaze their pieces. The Glaze workshop is 2 hrs with 20 minutes of demonstration and then supervision. Students can pick up their finished pieces a week after the Glaze workshop, Kev will specify the date then.
